really long ride

Rode 135 miles this weekend I am guessing but only about 30 were on pavement. The rest was all dirt roads trails and one goat trail. A trail I rode many years ago well actually I pushed my bike up most of it. This time I rode down some and hiked down quite a bit. I saw a herd of elk back there with some really small babies. Didn't take the camera along there really is no way to capture the view or feelings of a ride like this. Could describe the route but, most people don't know the trails and roads and those that do I have probably already told. It is a long ways with many long climbs. Looking forward to doing it again when it is not so hot. I would like to do it all in one day probably tweak the route a bit.

Busy Time

Like many other people sites I read there has not been much up dating lately. Great that means I am not the only person out there riding and working so much I don't have time to write about it. I had a great week off in Montana hiked a bunch and rode a couple of days. Been working on the yards here and there things are looking good. This week I plan to go easy until Saturday than have a gnarly route planed to Idaho city. The return route to Boise on Sunday is even worse can't wait to suffer!
