I could use this as a header on all my posts. Life is sometimes mundane and that's OK. Sold the little blue truck ye Ha! I know for a guy who rides a bike everywhere why have I clung to so many vehicles? Don't really know. Mostly I think it is my what if something happens issues. It's gone and it feels great.
I also sold one Mt. bike my 93 stumpjumper. We had a lot of good times but, I was no longer riding it and it went to a good home. The only reason I didn't sell it sooner I was afraid I might need it. Yes I have a pattern here. I sold it to a co-worker that needed a bike to ride with his son and he has joined us on Monday rides. He rides well for a smoker and for not riding a bicycle for 13 years. He is like a kid again. And I get to enjoy his enthusiasm.
I do need to sell the redline conquest this bike to has been with me for about 30,000 plus miles. Seems like a lot but I have had it for about 12 years. It's replacement has been ordered and should be here soon. A Raleigh Sojourn, haven't seen one yet but from the pictures and the geometry charts it should be perfect.
This weekend we are going to Idaho Falls to help my mother in law with stuff. I should probably run a little as I am doing Robie creek this year. At forty I am not sure making the race my longest run of the year is such a good idea.
