Disaster area?

I have never owned a home in a county that has been declaired a disaster area before. Personnaly it is not that bad in Idaho city. I think the problem is the new people that have only been in the mountains for a few years. The last three winters have been below normal snow years. We have had this much snow since I have had the place up there. The one person on the news interview was shoveling out by hand. Huh? To live in the mountains here you have to invest in snow removal equipment of some sort. I like my blower others have plows on trucks and several of my neibors just hire a back hoe to come in. Enough about that Sky and I went up and cleaned the driveway and got the shop warm enough to slip. Several shops have colapsed along the highway. It ain't easy having a place in the mountains but, I like it.

More of the same 2

Another weekend of snow removal and snowshoeing. Some day we will go out and not have to break trail. Kind of boring weekend except we did see a moose while we were out. I am also getting more use out of the studded tyres. At some point I should be posting a story about an epic ride. I may not be riding as much as other people claim to but, I feel as though I am maintaining fitness and when the weather breaks I will be ready to ride. I havn't drove to work yet 23 days so far. A couple of days were really shitty I guess. Shitty, challanging whats the differance. I know it took more effert and I wasn't white knuckling the stearing wheel of my truck. I was riding and the unplowed bike path felt like riding trails. Real sketchy trails. All good.
