Another Sojourn

I have been riding the crap out of the Raleigh Sojourn this year. It's the heaviest bike I own and most people I know don't get it. I have loaded the bike and hauled a trailer loads that would break their 15 lb wonder bikes. I have had several different tyres on it touring tyres of various sizes 35 mm cyclocross etc and I haven't had a problem yet. I plan on getting some studded tyres for the winter and also some 42mm. At this point I have about 1500 miles on it and we have ordered another one for Paula. We are hoping to do some over night this fall and this bike will handle the gear and pulling the dog trailer.

Other things keeping me and most people I know busy are the Olympics. Was up late last night watching Kristen Armstrong win the time trial. I started the Thursday night time trial behind her a few years ago she is very pleasant and fast. The company I work for AceCo made the little chain keeper arm for her. Cool little project.

Plan on riding to Idaho city Friday night and SS mt bike on Saturday. Sunday Paula suggested I ride over to Horseshoe Bend and then to Boise I may do that. I am leaning on cutting off at Harris creek summit and going to Bogus then home. More updates later!
